Rereading the Inheritance Games to prepare for the finale, here are my takeaways for each book

I prefer happy with a twist." "Gray, if you ask me a stupid question, I am legally obligated to say something sarcastic back. It's the law." "There's no need to repeat yourself, I ignored you the first time." "Tip, Thea, maybe if you ate makeup, you'd be pretty on the inside too." "Unless your name is Google stop acting like you know everything." "It's not that I'm lazy, it's just that I don't care."

Nora Grace couldn't be happier. Everything is perfect. Her heart is beating healthy. She's dating the boy she's loved forever, even if he's all the way at Harvard. Things are finally turning up. But, as she's learned, everything perfect has to come to an end. She has to live in the here and now, has to solve the last game her grandfather left for her, one that could change everything for the worse.

Cordelia Ambrose couldn't remember how old she was when she first met the Hawthornes, all that she knew is that her family and theirs had been friends for what seemed like an eternity. You can imagine how shocked she was when she found out the-one-and-only Grayson Hawthorne didn't get the Hawthorne fortune and estate, she was even more shocked when a year later later she received a letter from Ms Grambs herself addressed to her and her little brother saying that the Hawthorne's had spoke well of them and she would be delighted to have them at her charity ball she was holding.
