The cursed land. A prison to throw those who people in power want gone - and not coming back through reincarnation. Raviel could not stop his brother from being banished to this realm, but after 10 long years of magical research he finally has the means to go after him and bring him home. If only finding him in the land infested by monsters - and often by men and women not much better - were that easy. --- Winner of Horror category in The Flower's Awards 2018 --- Heavily inspired by Ravenloft books and the themes of Witcher 3 video game, so if you like either, at least give it a try. Feedback, both positive comments and constructive criticism, is very welcome. WARNING: I would not quite classify this as "mature adults only" - personally I read Ravenloft books in middle school -, but it does get pretty creepy at times. If creepy isn't your thing, you might want to wander elsewhere.

The only thing Vine, a fallen angel, really wanted was to live peacefully among humans. That is not to be when a whole horde of low-level demons called 'dream-eaters' invade the tropical island he calls home. Although the majority of the inhabitants are slaughtered without any chance of escape, there are also two other survivors. Katherine, a young priest-in-training, and a mute little boy with a pitch black key that may be their only way to stay alive...Or one to condemn them for all eternity. This story takes place in an alternative universe Earth, with different history and mythology. If you think this should be rated mature, just let me know. My voice shakes as I keep my eyes on him. He only chuckles and turns around. "Eric please just tell me whats going on." I uneasily say. He gives me a wicked grin as he looks down at me. He keeps his dark, cold, emotionless eyes on me not even moving his body an inch. "E-Eric?" I whimper in fear. I gasp as Eric appears right in front of me with his hands wrapped around my neck. His grip tightens and I try to gasp for air and push him off of me but he's stronger than I am. Black specks form in my vision as I try to keep looking at him scared that he's going to kill me right here, right now. ---- Edlynn, a human who wakes up in an unknown place and next thing she knows she's sold, sold to a vampire. Having no memory of any of her past how will Edlynn handle life as a vampires pet.
