This is a Jurdan based short story focusing on them beginning their journey as High King and Queen of Elfhame. There will be spoilers from all three of the books. Holly Black (the author of this series) owns these characters , I just wanted to continue their journey for a little longer.

(Cardan)" When Cardan, the High King of Faerie, finds himself in a motel room celebrating a "honeymoon" (courtesy of Vivi, his mortal wife's cousin), he goes along with it. Never mind that he has no idea what a honeymoon is. Never mind that he's still enamored by Jude, his wife. It's an opportunity for embarrassing Cardan, one that Jude would not waste. Guess she has an interesting idea of what to do on a honeymoon, because it's definitely not the same as other couples! Short story/ one shot ft. Cardan in the mortal world (just some fluff and Cardan's high king attitude). ... ONE MAJOR SPOILER LIES AHEAD (plus other minor ones). This fanfiction takes place in a period between the "Wicked King" and "Queen of Nothing" books by Holly Black (And so it should be known that all of the characters are hers). While we know what Jude was doing when spending her time in exile, no one really knows what Cardan, the person responsible for it, was doing. This story is my personal take on what could've transpired, including when he wrote letters to Jude, told from Cardan's very own point of view. This fanfic is compiled stories about Jude Duarte and Cardan Greenbriar from Holly Black's book series: The Folk of the Air/The Cruel Prince. This is supposed to be like Eva's final letter to Madoc, given to him after she died. (So for some reason l find Eva story really interesting and for a while l've been playing around with the idea that she left Elfhame because she knew/saw pieces of things that would happen in the future and left in order to try to prevent them. Like for example She knew the next time she saw Madoc would be the last (he'd be the one to kill her) and that her children would suffer in the hands of the court and one of them would become queen.) I don't know, l' m a terrible writer but l hope someone enjoys it anyways. 😅🤷‍♀️ Thank you for reading.
