The original version was written a while ago, when I had less knowledge and experience. I'd truly come to love the world I'd created, and feel that I should bring it back by writing the original book with more detail and less mistakes.

The Hunt is the mysterious sequel to the most happy, sad book I've written, You Are Never Alone, starring myself and Jordan as we go through a tough love case. If you haven't read You Are Never Alone, then I seriously don't recommend reading this. It will make little to no sense, and you will get lost easily. I hope you enjoy the thrilling and mysterious sequel to You Are Never Alone, as Jordan follows the rules set for him in the will of the deceased Detective Baylie Otero.

It's a collection of short poems which describes the pain and loneliness of being unknown and forgotten and who is overshadowed by the Main characters of every story. Let's think , relate , empathise and cry with them 'cause they need you and you indeed need them too.

A group of six teenagers, three girls, and three boys, all of them are middle children. All of them are forgotten. Invisible. Alone. But, they have each other. As their sophomore year reaches it's middle, they develop a plan to run away together. To get jobs and live together. To always remain friends. They each had their own personality. The artist, instrumentalist, designer, writer, chef, and the dancer. And their names were Abby, Isabella, David, Winter, Charlie, and Danny. Together they were The Forgotten.

"Every day something is forgotten." It could be as big as a birthday or as little a paper clip left on the floor... It is forgotten. It happens.

The inexcusable way people who aren't tested and die from CoViD-19 and therefore aren't accounted for in the statistics, is heart wrenching, cold, calculating. Meanwhile the healthcare officials display their wrought numbers to show us the flattening of the curve has set in. The question should be asked here what we know? Do we really know where the virus is when we don't test? I think we can all answer that question, we simply don't know? Until the testing is truly ramped up, there's only one number to look at which conveys the true cost of this pandemic, that number is the weekly or monthly death rate inside our populations. All else is in fact a construct of either our health authorities, our government or our media, of which the last eagerly, willfully and deliberately copies these numbers and displays 'm in ever more incomprehensible ways to show the public the curve is bending towards the projected cutoff from the exponential curve. They all are your worst nightmare maleficent bookkeepers who bend bad numbers into success stories. Excuse for the word bookkeepers here, for all those who are trustworthy ones. Hard questions aren't asked of those responsible. To me this once more reveals how much the hotshots are intertwined with those who represent our sources for news, it represents a level of contempt for the general public which is the true sadness laid bare in this crisis.

Wrive Tacking and his friends aren't exactly what you'd call "normal". For instance, most people don't spend their time running from crazy industries that would love to lock them to large machines and experiment on them. ( A.K.A Ultra Tech. ) "Normal" people don't struggle to put together the pieces to puzzles that, once completed, are secrets. But Wrive and the others don't care that they're not "normal". They're too busy trying to figure out a massive secret involving Ultra Tech, a secret room, and a whole bunch of other confusing things. But can they get everything sorted out before Ultra Tech captures them again, or worse?

In this world, if you Forget something, whatever you Forgot is transported to a Court. Things, people, anything. However, you can only Forget things that are yours, and only family members can Forget other family. When Tessa's parents die, instead of dealing with her grief, she travels to the Leaders of the Court to plead with them to let her Forget her parents. To Forget the grief. But the Memories and Things have been stolen, and she can't Forget her grief if she doesn't get them back. At first she's hesitant, but they offer her a reward to get it back, since she's human, which means she has more power in the Court than a regular Forgotten would.
