When my mother was alive, magic was the only string that kept her and I together. The silly card tricks, even pulling a rabbit out of the hat. It all connected me to her, pulling me into a seemingly better reality than where I was. But in the blink of an eye, she was gone. That string snapped. Magic was only real if you believed, and at that point, it was just a game to me. All it did was provide false hope. I forced myself to keep performing for her, deceive others into thinking that what they saw was real. Seeing magic fill others with joy made me question; why. Why would seeing something impossible make someone so happy? Because seeing is believing. And the closer you look, the less you'll see.

The Law is clear: When the 7 Seals are broken 4 Horsemen shall Ride fourth to punish the wicked, be they Lords of Heaven, Dregs of Hell or The Sons of Man! The Seals have been broken, and now the 4 Horsemen ride upon the ruined earth. When they arrive, Death, Strife and War are shocked by the news that Fury had been playing protector that there still remains a group of humans. War shares his own stories of The Destroyer's true identity, Death explains his journey to restore Humanity, and the death of Absalom, also corruption. As for Strife... he shares the stories of Haven, before Fury's arrival, and his journeys after. When all stories are done being told, all 4 ride across the earth, searching for the truth of why they were betrayed by the Council, While Strife insists that they side with Humanity in the true Endwar, Death and War insist on serving the balance, and Fury cares only for revenge against their former Masters. All other manner of factions remain however. Alliances between Faction leaders have been made, and when Samael and Lilith make a claim to fill the power vacuum left by The Destroyer, Uriel and Azrael must rally the remnants of The Hellguard to fight. In an effort to judge effectively, Death orders The Horsemen to split into teams, Fury and War shall be one, Death and Strife another. As the group goes about their duties, they decide they can no longer follow blindly, and must decide whom they will aid in the Endwar. Before all of this however, we flashback to Strife's journeys before his brother and sister join him on the wartorn earth, both during the events of his Fury's first visit, and before his mysterious disappearance and arrival with the other Horsemen.

Four years have passed since the beginning of the true Endwar. The Horsemen have vanished! Humanity has been surviving on the ruined Earth and one human shall take up the mission to find the Horsemen and stop the Charred Council!

Humans have an uncanny ability to romanticize even the most inhuman acts. We twist and turn and bend things until we start to believe even our own lies. We are dangerous, in that aspect. Our ability to manipulate is almost as deadly as our will to survive. We can, and all, have the ability to become monsters. Now yes I do know that The Horsemen act a little more... Human in this book and that's because it's exactly what I wanted I mean you don't see many Darksiders story's where the Horsemen love each other very deeply like a close family and I think that's how it should be you know so for this story I made the Horsemen very close and have more human like actions but other than that they still do act the same as they do in the Video Games and Graphic Novel (And yes I have played all 4 Darksiders games and read all of the Comics it's one of my most favorite series ever) just a little bit more loving but anyways I hope you all love it. By the way this is my first Story, Fanfiction, Book or whatever you want to call it so it may not be the best but it's mine and I am proud of it. But anyway I love you all and enjoy!! At a very young age she found the art of magic, she started practicing card tricks for the longest time. She got bored with that and moved on to mentalism. Then she moved on to illusions, and eventually the art of escape. She does her magic on the streets of New York, New York. She moved there once she turned 18, originally from the land of voodoo in New Orleans, Louisiana. She would perform simple magic tricks on the streets there, mainly at Mardi Gras. But everything changed when one day as she was cleaning up from her last performance of the day, she found a tarot card in her top hat. She followed the directions on the back and met with some strange people and a couple old friends. That card led her on the crazy adventure as she became part of the group called 'The Five Horseman' and maybe there is a bit of love thrown into the mix? Who knows!
