Her hair as dark as midnight complimented the black dress she wore which was made of silk. Lucas pushed his way out of the denser area of the crowd. He felt it was absurd to find anyone at this busy masquerade ball. Young ladies tugged at the edges of his sleeves, wanting to dance with him, Prince Lucas; but he was focused on one thing only, finding the girl. He finally caught sight of her on the balcony, gazing into the moonlight. Making his way over to her, his heart started to quicken. eva: nineteen years old, anxious, stays up too late, thinks too much, attempted suicide at thirteen, hopeless cause to many. seb: twenty-two years old, smoker, talks too much, always out and about, prefers champagne, heartthrob romantic. eva never met the person who saved her life, and seb doesn't remember that it's her he rescued from the bridge that day. eva believes love to be hopeless, and seb is a romantic with far too many ex-girlfriends. eva wears all black, and the only thing dark about seb is the burnt end of his cigarette. when eva meets seb, perhaps there's a little more to the story than a fleeting glance and a lingering touch. { when i first met you there was a garden growing from a black hole in my mind... }

Screams were heard, fire lighting the dark night and smoke thick in the air. In the middle of all the chaos, she lied in her white flower dress, blood-stained and crumbled. Ashes hit her face from the chaos, eyes as cold and empty as a doll. She just stared out in front of her, no emotion... dead and from afar you could hear the howls of pain. The Red Night... For there where she lies, she will not stand up. She will gain a new body, but that body will only be a holder of her soul, a cursed soul. She will never be loved and will die with a broken heart. Her soul will never meet her other half, never be full, and walk this earth alone. He will remember you, but that is all you'll ever be... a memory. Alpha Volcov is the protector of the werewolves, the first child of a wolf and human. The strongest and bravest of them all, their King. They said he would never have a mate, but once he found her...and then lost her. Now she is only a memory, a lost Hope. *** "I have been waiting for this moment since forever." She whispered into the dying woman's ear and when she took her last breath, disappeared into the night.
