Now only a few humans are left, hiding out in the desert. Elsa was supposed to be subdued. Everyone else was when they were taken. But for some reason Elsa was able to remain mostly in control after the Soul was implanted. She lost all of her memories, but at least she's human (when the Soul isn't fighting back). Jack lost a lot when the Souls took over. None of it really mattered to him until he lost Elsa. Elsa, the one spot of sunshine in his life. But he isn't giving up without a fight. Not by a long shot.
