If that wasn't enough, a strange branch of undercover government had their eyes on all of this supernatural activity! (I don't own the Ghost and Molly Mcgee, it's characters or songs. And don't worry, nobody gets seriously harmed in the story, people just get frightened. Slight friendship-fluff ahead, nothing romantic however.) (We all know that Scratch the Ghost LOVES food, sometimes to a point where he becomes almost blob-like when he stuffs himself a bit too much. The idea for the story comes from that very love for food. Please note. This fanfiction was written in post season 1 and pre season 2 of TGAMM.) Molly Mgcee knows that her best friend, Scratch the Ghost, loves food to no end! Even though ghosts don't have to eat, Scratch would never turn down a meal, especially if it's Grandma Nin's cooking. A problem arises however, when Scratch accidentally swallows a slime-like substance! Afterwards, Scratch begins to feel increasingly hungry, like alot more than usual! The problem with this? Whenever he eats, his ectoplasm increases, causing Scratch to grow! And he can't seem to stop eating! Combine this with the fact that Scratch is a ghost and can phase through any wall or building; and you've got a ghostly blob in your town! Not a single speck of food is safe in Brighton! It's up to Scratch's best friend Molly to turn Scratch back to normal before Scratch becomes known as the world's first "Ghost Blob!"

What if Jinx managed to kill Molly at the end of The Jig is Up? When Molly's life came to a sudden end, her ghost paid Libby a visit to confess her love for her best friend like she wasn't able to do when she was alive. Much to Molly's surprise, Libby feels the same way about her and when the two of them become girlfriends, Molly would soon realize that the end isn't truly the end.
