This story takes place after the events of season two. We follow Adia Williams, a lifelong explorer reunited with her childhood best friend, Todd Mortenson. As the two finally begin chasing their shared dream of seeing the world together, tragedy strikes, setting off a chain of events that threatens the balance between the human and ghost worlds. When a mysterious force of gloom begins to spread, Scratch, Molly, and their friends must uncover the truth-and confront the past-before it's too late.

In an alternate version of The Grand Gesture, Molly and Libby slowly realize their romantic feelings for one another but are too scared to confess their love. To help out, Scratch and Leah decided to work together to encourage their loved ones to finally confess their feelings after holding them back so long.
