During the Golden Age Peter and Edmund are out one day on a ride, when they find a girl called Rose, unconscious in the woods. When she wakes up she's confused on where she is, and whilst in Narnia she goes on a journey that will reveal the secrets of her past. But during that journey she starts having feelings for a certain king of Narnia, but is it Edmund, or Peter?

Unfortunately for everyone, Edmund falls in love with her handmaid, Theodosia. Now Theodosia is incredibly loyal. She is not going to fall for some silly traitor who tries his best to keep his feelings hidden. However, with treachery afoot and secrets abound, Theodosia wonders how long she can ignore the growing blossom of feelings for King Edmund. Especially when a vial of poison sits in her pocket.
