Another 1x17 rewrite. Sneak peek: Finally, Will thinks just as he falls asleep. I've got my girl back in my arms.

Sneak peek: "Whenever I step into your office, whenever I step into your arms, it feels like I'm coming home." His wife says as she walks deeper into his office with a smile on her face.

Sneak peek: Will Gardner fell in love with Alicia Cavanaugh all over again like he did three years earlier at their first pool party, he fell in love with Alicia Cavanaugh like he did 18 years ago. "I've loved you for 20 years Alicia Cavanaugh, and I'll love you for 20 more, and however many more years it takes to see you again."

Sneak peek: She hopped onto his back when they went to DC and took Zach, Grace, Diane, Cary and Kalinda to visit their old college a full year after Will was shot. She laughed when he called her 'Cavanaugh' again. She held his hand as they walked past all their old haunts. They weren't aware of the pictures being taken by Zach or Grace. It was like they were in college again.

Sneak peek: but he was there to heal their broken hearts after Peter cheated on Alicia and broke their hearts when another scandal broke out, he was there to watch as they gave heartfelt and tear inducing speeches at their wedding and he was there to watch as they both walked Alicia down the aisle to him at their wedding.

Sneak peek: Alicia can't believe Will carried this around it for 20 years. Just like Will carried it around for 20 years, she'll wear it for more than 20 years and be happy, for Will.

A series of unrelated oneshots surrounding Will and Alicia.

Sneak peek: It was a year ago today he had died with her name on his lips as he died. It was a year ago today she was told by Diane that he loved her. It was a year ago today all the life was sucked out of her.

Sneak peek: "Don't go." She says against his lips, Will smiles, his arms shooting around her waist. "Never. I'm not going anywhere." Will tells her after he's ended the kiss and embraces the kids, without her leaving his side. "I'll love you forever." She says just as her eyes droop. "I'm okay with that." Will replies.

Sneak peek: "After you're free of him, after the kids are free of him, we'll all go to Spain, we'll start our good timing right, but for right now, let me hold you. I'm not going anywhere unless you want me gone. We'll start us right once you're free of him, I promise." Will whispers gently before pulling her closer to him, she settles into him, her head on his chest.

With the loss of her partner and struggle facing two former employees trying to take her down, Diane Lockhart shows she is a force to be reckoned with.

Sneak pee: "I will remember you for the rest of time, Will." I whisper before falling back on my be and falling asleep, the picture still in my grip.

Sneak peek: "Tell me that we'll be forever." His wife says. "Tell me that you won't ever let me give up on us again." Will looks at his wife. "We'll be forever and I promise if you give up on us, I'll make sure you remember everything we've been through to get here." He tells her before he twirls her around in his arms.

Reconciliation takes time.

What happens when Will and Alicia can't control themselves anymore and start an amazing adventure together?

It's nearing midnight in Chicago on December 31st, Alicia and Will are at the same New Year's Eve party thrown by Diane. Both have no one to kiss when the clock strikes midnight but they're not speaking to each other, not since she and Cary left Lockhart?Gardner, so will a kiss at midnight mend all the heartbreak they'd put each other through?

Sneak peek: Tears roll down her face as she stares at his handsome face. "Please, come back to me, Will. I can't lose you again." Her voice is soft as she goes silent, the tears still rolling down her face, pressing a soft kiss to his warm knuckles.

Sneak peek: It's by far one of his favourite pictures from their wedding day because it was taken when he had held out his hand out for her. It was taken when he promised Zach and Grace that he'd always take care of their mother like he'd always done. "I'll love you forever." His wife says in his ear. "I'm okay with that." He replies.

Sneak peek: She wishes she told Will she loved him before his death, regardless of his feelings towards her. Maybe if she had told him, it'd would've given something to hold onto, or at least until the paramedics came to help him. Since his death, she's been living with the knowledge that she's partly responsible for her love's death.

Sneak peek: "Either leave him, and start a real relationship with me or stay with him, and give your marriage another chance, because I'm done waiting. I've waited for you for 19 years and I'm not waiting another 19 years. I'm done waiting for you Alicia." Will tells her before he walks out of the kitchen into his bedroom, closing his bedroom door behind him.
