A girl stricken with amnesia wakes up in a tea shop. The tea shop is full of bustling customers. Everyone exchanged smiles as they saw each other and the air was filled with the sweet, caressing aroma of tea. She didn't like it here. Other people look at her strangely. Or is it other species? World War III was a deadly nuclear war fought decades ago. Since then, Rayhaven (previously the US) has built many communities, including Pineport. After the war, Aylse's family relocated to Pineport for safety and were happy until tragedy struck. Aylse's mom was pronounced dead when Aylse was 13 and Grey, her brother, was 7. Aylse, with no help from her useless father, must raise Grey alone. Before war struck, The Alternation was very common a phenomenon. Then, when most of the population was eliminated during the war, a lot of information was lost. Sianna and I met up by my locker to walk to fourth block pre-calculus, as normal. The bell rang again as fourth block began and we stumbled into our seats. Then, about five minutes later, a blonde boy strides into the class. Ms.Smith glared at the boy for interruption of the entire class, that could be a detention. "Who are you, why are you here, and where ar-", Ms. Smith tried to ask before she was cut off by the mystery boy. "My name is Asher, I'm a transfer from another community, and I'm here because this is my fourth period."
