After the fight in Ketterdam, the Crows have gone their separate ways only to unite once again. Inej and Kaz come together for a future they deemed impossible, Nina and Matthias are fighting for a better life and Jesper and Wylan start facing life's challenges together. Will the dangerous outcasts finally get their happily ever afters or will another enemy set on vengeance, bring them down? One witty and harsh, and the other sarcastic and loving. But both equally as terrifying. Everyone knew that Zoya was a great, if not the greatest squaller, but (Y/n) was different. As a normal tidemaker should, she controls water, but not like others. Where they need the source, her water appears out of air moisture, plants, even humans. Being able to take control of someone's body was definitely not a normal thing for Tidemakers, some people often mistook her as a Heartrender, but that was one of many things that set her above the Tidemakers and even Heartrenders. Post Crooked Kingdom. Inej's parents are devoted members of the Suli church, worshiping their saints daily. Kaz is... a man of fortune. He's got the girl on his side, now comes the fun part! Basically Kaz tries to get Inej's parents to like him by straightening his tie and becoming the reason the baby cries during service. Also, the crows adapt to life after Crooked Kingdom. Tears will be shed, graves will be dug.

With time, you will see." ________________ If the Darkling succeeded in making Alina a monster, what would Alina act like under the Darkling's spell. Would she be cold and callous or would she try to fight it-would she try to be good? If you read my other Darklina book "The True Saint", this one is the opposite (although it does not connect with my other book so it can be read separately). Instead of Alina making Aleksander a better man, she becomes a monster. This takes place the night of the Winter Fete and continues until the end of Ruin & Rising.
