Sometimes You can't always runaway from your problems, Sometimes your problems follow you wherever you decide to go.

A visiting Professor, from Hong Kong is in BC to audit a new course being offered by a number of Canadian University on Urban Legends. While auditing the course, at UBC, he is strangely taken by an urban legend call the BC Night Train and as the class takes on overnight ride on historic train, he find himself suddenly engulfed in what seems to be a reoccurrence of the horrors of the past. This is third in my series of Canadian Urban Legends. All the three, The Fogo Island Blind Spot, The Manitoba Mist and this one, the BC Night Train will be incorporated in a single book call Grindhouse Canada

For The Grudge Writing Contest. When Marie, a police chief, investigates a murder with a detective, Timothey, and single mom, Sharron, they get caught in the grips of The Grudge, a horrible curse that will have anyone encountering it die a horrible, gruesome death. Good luck trying to escape, because the harder you try, the worse it gets.

Sorry, the story was really rushed, I can't work under word limits. I saw the contest and I really wanted to give it a shot, hopefully I will enter more contests, but I'm sorry and I would've added more if I didn't have a limit. Thanks for reading anyways!

What happens when the lights go out, and the embers burn to match the rage

This is my short story, "The Stairs". I am entering this into the grudge contest! I am going to make a longer version with many more details, for own personal reading. Megan, a teenage girl looking for money accepts a job to housesit a strangers house for a night. After arriving, she is met with the very tall man, who appears mute and leaves her a note with 4 rules. The fourth one being scratched out. She's then met with a face she will never forget.
