The Half Of It (2020) FanFiction Ellie comes back to Squahamish, and she meets Aster again. She thought about her everyday ever since she left. She still loves Aster, and now she won't ever leave her again.

She went to Grinnell. She went to Art School. They kept in touch. It's been almost half a year since Ellie planted a kiss on Aster Flores' lips before she rode off into the sunset with her bike. They both knew what "see you in a couple of years" truly meant, it was part of their nonverbal understanding of one another. When Aster said "In a couple of years I'm gonna be so sure," Ellie knew she really meant to say, "It's gonna take some time to understand my sexuality but I'll get there eventually. And when I do, I might just be ready for something." Subsequently, Aster knew what Ellie meant after she kissed her. "And I'm willing to try that something out whenever you're ready." They'd only seen eachother once after that when both of them came back home for Christmas break. Since then, both of them have been too swamped with college to visit home. But everything is gonna change when an incident causes Deacon Flores to call for an emergency gathering in the small town. Aster, Ellie and Paul are united again in their hometown. Have things changed? Has Aster changed? Has Ellie changed? Are these too many questions? I honestly just had no idea what to write for this preview thingy without giving too much away, how do authors do this man??? Growth, Love, Friendship and Family truly gets explored in this fanfiction. (I really don't why I wrote this like some kind of review from New York Times... You know what? Enjoy!)

Basically this is just my thoughts and opinions on the Netflix film 'The Half of It'. Please don't take this too seriously, this is just for me to get it out of my system.

P/s: English is my second language, so maybe there will be some mistakes. Anyways, I will try my best to develop the story. "I'll see you in a couple of years", she says as she rode her bike away. A lot of laughters, tears and pain. New challenges and feelings to be felt. What is left unsaid to be told, feelings to be touched. What's next for Paul, Ellie and Aster? What is the boldest stroke they could possible make? What bold stroke will they be risking in order to achieve that greater painting? Characters and actual plots belong to its respective owners. The ending to The Half of It was amazing, but also wanted to give Ellie and Aster a happy ending together in an alternate universe :) Ellie comes home from college to reunite with Aster for Christmas break after being a year into their long distance relationship. Lots of fluff and some young adult existentialism. Ellie Chu, 5 years after leaving her little town Squahamish to Iowa to pursue her college degree in Literature, 22 years old fresh and back. Ellie left the town leaving Aster with the words " see you in a couple of years" and Paul with one less friend who used to live across his home. She is now back to the life she so dearly misses. This is the supposed sequel of Netflix's The Half Of It, directed by the one and only Alice Wu. I am not here to duplicate any works of Alice's and am deeply grateful for her production of this film. After watching the movie The half of it, i decided to take it upon myself to write my version of how the second part should go, or more so how i think it should or would go. just to fill the hole i guess.

Yes, this is that one movie on netflix and no i'm not technically stealing i'm just changing the characters and some other stuff plus i'm giving credits so... I won't be changing the way i wrote in the beginning but i will (now that i've gotten better) write differently and more.. seriously
