I didn't really have an idea for a title. Not really sure about my take on this. Just a story about bilbo baggins meeting a short elf locked in the dungeon next to them.

A fanfic of Tauriel's childhood, how she grew up, the mystery behind her parents, her relationship with Legolas, and a more detailed background for the character than was ever written by Peter Jackson. Tauriel is training to become Captain of the Guard, her one opportunity to be anything more than the daughter of a murderer. Because at the moment, that's all that she is. Her father, Tarion, murdered 16 elves before he was caught attempting to assassinate the King, and beheaded. One of his victims was his own wife, Tauriel's mother, leaving her an orphan, viewed by most as a murderer, despite the fact that she has never killed anyone. Now as much as this story seems like a joke that I put no work into, I tried to make a lot of wholesome content to include within. And trust me, this is quite lengthy. I wrote this a year ago and stored it on a note, and I think its time to put it up so everyone can enjoy it. I did some editing and it probably needs a lot more, and just comment any errors you notice and I'll try to adress the issues. The "joke" section is just more stories that I think don't fit or are just too goofy. This story includes some made up characters, and most of the main cast. Some of the relations are weird, I guess I was on some different wavelength when writing this but I'll try to fix those like merry being Sam and Frodos child, unless you are fine with that. Maisy Brandybuck, the cousin of Bilbo Baggins, gets pulled into quite an adventure. Literally. Through caves and mountains Maisy discovers the wonders of adventuring with a crowd of dwarfs surrounding her. Though one specific dwarf is different.

Having sent his son to join the Fellowship of the Ring, Thranduil's limits are tested. His kingdom and lineage is threatened. Barely able to speak of his wife's death and now exposing his son to a similar fate, the agony emanates from his eyes to Elenya, a Silvan elf who has known the king since his return to Greenwood since the war of the Woodland Realm with the Kingdom of Angmar. Her radiating friendship, having grown into a dearest affection, alleviates his unrest, until again, the White gems of Lasgalen end up stolen. Elenya pleads her king to let her retrieve them. An act of friendship, as she states, only does she hope that the retrieval of the stones will finally open her king's eyes to her. The affection between them could bloom into much more, but his resistance to another is still too strong. Little does she know that the thief of the stones, a black-haired God who bears the name Loki, grows rather interested in her, and is more than willing to claim his price. In her absence, Thranduil at last admits what Elenya means to him, and departs to retrieve her. Will Elenya continue to fight for Thranduil, or fall prey to his enemy, the God of Mischief on Asgard?
