It's been a year. A year since the publication of the final entry on the Marble Hornets YouTube page. A year since the events of Benedict Hall. A year since Tim killed two of his friends, the third dying at the hands of one of them. Each passing day hurt like hell for Tim, and despite desperately trying to move on he still suffered every day because of what happened. So when his presumed dead former best friend arrives on his doorstep, exhausted and confused and desperate, Tim doesn't know whether to consider it a blessing or a curse. "12 more, that's all I need to do. Then it will all be over." Spencer had 72 chances to make it through 17 days without dying. Every chance that is granted, every reset he gets, the same thing happens; He ends up dead in some way. And now, he only has 12 more resets to realize what's happening and get through 17 days before he runs out of chances and ends up dead for good. Lucky for him, someone is coming to help him survive the 17 days to come. But unlucky for him, someone else is responsible for making sure he doesn't make it past the set date, and this person doesn't intend to lose to Spencer. Surviving for this long doesn't seem like a challenge, but in this case, it's easier said than done.

Tim walks down a cold path in the woods as he looks back many times over his shoulder. He can't shake this feeling... a feeling of being watched. His heart rate increases as does his pace.
