Elizabeth "Betty" Jones had been in love with Steve Rogers for as long as she could remember. Steve Rogers was none the wiser. Having grown up together in Brooklyn, he found himself in her company nearly as often as he found himself in the company of Bucky Barnes. When Steve found himself enlisted and ultimately chosen for a government experiment, he found himself being called a symbol of hope for America. Touring the country as Captain America, he turned to Betty for companionship and comfort. When the tour takes them to Europe, he found himself vying to go to the frontlines. When it becomes his reality, Betty is forced to decide if she'll find a way to stay in Europe or if she'll go back to her life in Brooklyn. She'll be forced to decide between following the man she loves or a comfortable life with her family.

One falsified his enlistment forms. One was going off to fight. One was on her way to a basecamp. Life hadn't always been kind to the Rogers siblings. Steve and Allison Rogers had been orphaned as teenagers, constantly working to prove that they could take care of themselves. James "Bucky" Barnes found himself always in the company of the two, much to both his and Allison's delight. When the country was plunged into World War II, each one of them found themselves drawn to the war effort. When all three began to go down their own paths, they had no idea what was to come. The Captain. The Sergeant. The Nurse.

In 1940s Brooklyn, Steve Rogers found himself constantly in the middle of squabbling between his best friend James "Bucky" Barnes and younger sister Allie Rogers. A constant sea of arguments and disagreements filled his days until Bucky was sent his orders and shipped off to fight in the war and his sister was accepted to be a nurse overseas. When the group found themselves reuniting overseas and coming together along with a few other soldiers to track and take down threats that Steve had found and vowed to eradicate, Allie and Bucky found themselves having to come to some kind of agreement to not kill each other while being on the same team. But when a simple agreement of working towards being friendly towards one another causes other, much more intense, feelings to rise to the surface, do Allie and Bucky throw caution to the wind give in to temptations they could never let anyone else find out about?
