Flora is a 17-year-old girl who lived on the Ark. Her life had been marked by the death of her mother during her childbirth, and the subsequent change of her father into a violent and aggressive man. One day, after having suffered her father's abuse for too long, Flora had the courage to defend herself and kill him. Even though she was forced to take this extreme act to defend herself, the people on the Ark considered her nothing more than a criminal. Everyone looked at her badly, avoided her and treated her with contempt. Her only 'salvation' was when she was 'offered the chance' like they said but in reality they forced her to be sent to Earth along with 99 other criminals, to find out if the planet was still habitable after the nuclear apocalypse that had left it uninhabitable for generations. Flora then found herself catapulted into an unknown world, with people who, like her, had been convicted of their crimes. During the time on Earth she will meet a boy, Bellamy Blake, what will happen?
