Makoto Naegi and his friends embark on a supply distribution mission in the crumbling ruins of New York City. Although the mission comes first, the exemplary performance of Nozomi Kirifuji, and the glowing impression she leaves on Makoto, fills Kyoko Kirigiri with disruptive personal concerns. She can ill afford such unnecessary feelings as they uncover another unthinkable conspiracy within the Future Foundation. The leadership of Hope's Peak Academy played a key role in creating The Tragedy, and they have never left, a fact that the Special Defense Unit knows all too well. Set in the Danganronpa canon universe along with characters from Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy. Knowledge of Last Defense Academy is not necessary for this story.
