Deep in the Haunted Forest there lived a huntsman. He was wide known around the kingdom, every peasant, lady, lord, and the royals knew of his great deeds and how he was undefeated. Yet, as his deeds and accuracy with the bow was known by everyone, few knew the beast of the man in person. As a result, there was always an air of mystery surrounding the huntsman, some said he had horns and fangs, others, mostly the women, said he was magnificently handsome. Some even went to say that seeing the huntsmen was a good omen, a great one to be exact. As famous as he was, the man never paid attention to the gossip of the civilians, but a certain one seemed quite interested in him.

Sky was always outgoing and playful and everyone loved being around her. Snow's personality was similar and together the twins were adored by the kingdom. The twins had a best friend named William who was the son of the Duke who was their father's right hand man. They did everything together and although they fought a lot, they stuck together through thick and thin. Until one day there were forced apart. After Queen Eleanor died, the kingdom was in sorrow and they grieved. Then their father met a woman named Ravenna who he married the very next day. That night she killed him and overthrew the kingdom. While William was able to escape with his father, Sky and Snow were trapped inside the gates. The kingdoms were told that the princesses were dead, but really they lived in the North Tower in a cell. For years they lived there until Ravenna sent her brother to get them to bring them to her. But Sky and Snow were able to escape. What happens when they are forced into the Dark Forest? Will they find William again? Or will their story end at the hands of the Queen? Read to find out. I love the idea of William being best friends with Sky (and Snow) when they were younger. I want to explore that relationship and that time before Ravenna.
