Following the striking success of Off the Wall, Michael Jackson has established himself as one of the preeminent artists in music. However, he was sorely disappointed with the album sales and the lack of public and media attention focused on the album. In April of 1982, Michael got together with genius musician, producer, and songwriter, Quincy Jones to create something that would blow Off the Wall and any other album out of the water.
Yet, in order to do that, he would need the best musical ear in the world of music to fine tune his album, and Quincy knew just the guy: Devereaux Fox, the brightest mind in music, besides Quincy, of course. When Devereaux and Michael meet in April of 1982, they embark on a quest to create the best selling album in the world. Although at first they were very reserved around each other, and didn't interact much, they still expected each other to live up to their reputations and execute on the highest level of musical professionalism. However, during the process, what they didn't expect, was to become lifelong friends.
