The poem is about a girl who is lost in her own life and is describing her life.

Nothing feels familiar Not even my home or the food I eat and the videos I scroll through. I try to regain that feeling I lost. The one that haunts me but never serves me just right and before everything withered away. All I feel is sadness with just a pinch of acceptance. "They're just ghosts on my phone" I whispered to myself. "They are nothing but a memory.." Isn't that what we all become at the end? A memory A piece of gum on a sidewalk A speck of sand on a beach A small branch on a tree A star in a galaxy I guess that's just life. The epitome of people coming and going. Does it ever end? Maybe when I'm dead or maybe not. Maybe it'll continue to flow like water.

Human thoughts are intricate and holds the deepest meaning to the soul. Know, accept and love your thoughts as parts of yourself. Especially the parts that you wish to hide because love is a powerful tool when understood correctly. These stories are about the journey of the writer.
