Arnold is about to enter the sixth grade. His good friend Addy, a fellow resident of the boarding house, tries to console and rid him of his first day jitters. What's really on his mind is Helga G. Pataki and the F.TI. incident. Why couldn't he stop thinking about it? Arnold just can't shake the feeling that one day, he will find his real parents. The sixth grade class takes a trip to San Lorenzo, the country Arnold's parents have resided since not long after he was born. It is up to Arnold, Addy, and Helga to save their friends when the trip goes wrong. Little do they know, they'll find out more about themselves than they would've ever known. Can they do it? Hey guys, it's Ari back at it again with another short! So in honour of Hey Arnold!'s newest TV movie (The Jungle movie) that makes its debut 2017 Thanksgiving, I thought that I'd make a short based on the movies Long anticipated confession. For you guys who are new and never heard of the show or simply haven't heard much about it in a while, The movie is supposed to have a romantic moment between Arnold and Helga. Helga in the last film, confessed her love for Arnold ontop of the FTI building (Future Tech Industries) and then took her words back by agreeing that it was all 'the heat of the moment' and that she still hates him even though that is completely false. In the upcoming movie, We hear Arnold's side to the story and judging that he is now 10 and in the 5th grade he would have hopefully matured a little and requite Helga's feelings....and hopefully end with a kiss.... OF COURSE HE'LL REQUITE HER FEELINGS.....THEY WERE DESTINED FOR EACH OTHER!! (Lol sorry for the shouting but it's true) Anyway...Hope you enjoy my interpretation of The Hey Arnold! So I have just finished watching Hey Arnold the Jungle Movie. And I personally really enjoyed the movie. However does anyone else feel like it could have been even better? I was originally going to re-wrote the whole movie however I decided to scrap that idea after watching the movie again. So instead I decided to write a bunch of non cannon onehsots relating to the movie. Hope you enjoy.

*THIS IS A CANON-DIVERGENT RETELLING OF 2017'S HEY ARNOLD! THE JUNGLE MOVIE* I wrote this story from 2005-2011, back when The Jungle Movie looked like it had a snowball's chance of being developed. In the original edit of the story, I gave Arnold the last name of Schwartz; official canon confirms that his last name is actually Shortman. Fan consensus at the time had already come to this conclusion, so when I re-released the story on Deviantart, that was one of the first changes I made. At the time when I initially wrote the story, it was script format, as I wasn't quite comfortable with writing traditional narrative. Now, with several other fanfics under my belt, I feel like it's time to re-visit the story one final time and present it in a way that most fans would prefer to have it read. It may seem redundant to post this again now that the story was officially concluded in 2017, but I'd like one final opportunity to express what I was hoping for from The Jungle Movie.
