But anyway, the Joker has broken out of Arkham Asylum thanks to his love interest: Harley Quinn. Together, there going to prove a point to Batman that everyone can go insane with just "One Bad Day"! This is an extract from my work, the NOVELIZED version of Batman-The Killing Joke. This has always been my favourite comic. Batman has always been my favourite superhero. Batman seeks to patch things up with The Joker but The Joker escaped from Arkham Asylum. As the dark knight searches for the homicidal, destructive maniac, The Joker plans to prove that anyone can go mad by kidnapping Commissioner Gordon.

Follow the Clown's transformation from sane to insane, all through the eyes of the person who was there to witness it all. So basically this is based off of 10 Things I Hate About You and Patrick sort of becomes the Joker... And yeah. The title is taken from the Joker's quote in Alan Moore's "The Killing Joke".
