Emily is forced to move towns so that her sister Hannah can complete her senior year. Emily usually spends days alone with her dog piper wandering around near the woods of her place. Then one day Piper runs off into the woods finds a tree house. The tree house is in quite bad condition and Emily decides to make it her job to fix it. i wish i could write a more engaging prologue but i cant

After leaving an unsafe home life, MJ discovers a hidden oasis in the middle of the woods. She meets Joe Toy, who teaches her that it's okay to trust even after being hurt. This is a fanfic/romance for "The Kings of Summer" (starring Nick Robinson), but it will be easy to follow along even if you've never seen the movie.
