disclaimer: this book is heavily based on the song "the last great american dynasty" by taylor swift - about the life of rebekah harkness. i am not claiming to have made up any of this story, yet just tell it in my own way. This story is loosely based off of Taylor Swift's song, "The Last Great American Dynasty". However, it follows a woman named Briar -whose character is based off of the woman at the end of the song- as she moves into Holiday House and begins to learn about the history of both the house, and the people who've lived in it through old journals and letters she finds in the library.
