It was almost like someone was tracking Herondales down and trying to kill them, James couldn't be quite sure.

Knowledge and charm made a deadly combination. Perhaps too deadly, as Esme's wit tended to scare away anyone who dared get to know her. But if she meets someone as clever as her, will she scare them away too?

Cordelia, James and Lucie are all in peril. The demon Belial is back, kidnapping innocent Shadowhunters and mundanes. Lucie raises Jesse from the dead and the Inquisitor is dreadfully mad. James and Cordelia try and tell each other their feelings for each other whilst Matthew tries his hardest to stop drinking. Characters from Cassie Clare! Except for Jasmine and other characters. This is a fanfic and is not a fanfic sequel to Chain of Iron. I am writing a Chain of Iron sequel that happens directly after Chain of Iron events though.
