One day on a star destroyer, it is attacked, and she is forced to fight in a TIE fighter, being shot down, she lands unconscious with just fragments of her memory. She is taken in by the Resistance and instantly becomes friends with the resistance fighter, Poe Dameron, while her brother seeks revenge. When face to face in combat, will she join her brother, or reveal her ability with the force, standing with her newfound friends and family. | this is my take on a sort of crossover type thing of some aspects of the movie top gun and obviously starwars, the plot line won't align with any of the movies, it's just sort of my own concoction. i also don't own the setting, characters, or some lines i'll be using except the female lead character & the plot line. | maverick's parents were close with han and leia, and she was sent to jedi training with her best friend, ben. after ben turned to the darkness, and the death of her parents, maverick lived on tatooine while being raised by han solo. eventually, leia called upon her to help the resistance. there, she meets poe dameron, and eventually reunites with ben- who is now kylo. the conflict in her heart tears her apart. who was she destined to be? the light or the dark?

[VII - IX] a former jedi with anger issues, a hermit with a passion for taking care of others; two cousins against the galaxy, discovering what loyalty means in the face of war.

This rewrite was in my mind even before my Spider-Man story which is ongoing and you can check out now, The storytelling in this book is in a way that has never been done in a Star Wars story before. I am more ambitious and passionate about this story, there are so many characters that were there in the movie, and some characters I am bringing in here that you may or may not know. It is emotional, dramatic, and action-packed, but in the end, you will see our beloved characters especially Luke in the way fans wanted and Rey will be a much a Jedi everyone will love.
