Basically Nathan was never captured during war but was actually thinking about how honorless the American army and the Japanese embassdor were and he rides his horse to warn katsomoto and they find out and follow him to kill him before he does. I don't own the characters I only own my plot which in my opinion rocks even though love the original Comment and I might add an extra chapter
