Lydia coughed, trying to defend her father's mistakes. "You mean stolen Stars." I corrected, venom in my tone. Milady, you are one insult away from starting another war! Rasal scolded. Excuse me, I didn't start the first one, I retorted. But I probably should've kept that to myself." Confided in her enemy's home and reluctant to accept her new title: princess of Stellaregno. Annabelle Virgo must find a way out of Hydra's Palace and help her rebel friends fight the war against King Jaxon whose actions have disbalanced in the zodiac. Belle plans her escape but unexpected news makes it physically impossible for her to fight beside the rebels. Meanwhile, Tristan Capricorn, Lyra Gemini, Amara Aries, Lewis Sagittarius and the other successors of the Twelve Constellations attempt to overthrow their tyrant king and retrieve Belle. Belle and her snake friend, Rasalhague communicate with Star Spirits to cure her friend Lyra Gemini. Annabelle must survive the abuse and she faces at Hydra's Palace, the endless deaths and pressure of the Stars. (Told from different points of views.) They are the people they've become. Now they're so far. Tears well up in my eyes, and I try to blink them away. I shouldn't be grieving over my losses, I am stronger than this. "But sometimes it's good to let it out," a voice says in my head. And so, I let the tears fall, let them fall with pain. Oh Stars, oh Stars, always remain. After the first wave, only darkness remains. After the second wave, only the lucky escape. After the third wave, only the unlucky survive. After the fourth wave, just one rule applies, trust no one. Now it's the dawn of the 5th wave and Squad 19 looks like they're in good shape to graduate and actually fight against the force that has destroyed their past lives. Fourteen year-old squad member Green looks up to no one else more than 19's squad leader, Ringer, who they all believe will lead them to victory with her sharp mind and even sharper shot on the firing range. When a new recruit arrives however, squad 19's chances of being #1 are threatened by his smart mouth and apparent hatred for everyone. Soon enough, Green finds himself, and fellow privates, making choices between themselves and their squad members, and what could become choices between life and death. But according to Ringer, "you either die a hero, or live long enough to become the villain." A/N: Hey! I didn't make up this storyline! The only thing I made up are the new characters! Pretty much everything in this story belongs to Rick Yancey. This is just a companion to my favorite story :)
