Ichabod Crane and Katrina Van Tassel have been together for three years after the Headless Horseman's defeat and then they decide to marry... but then their lives change when they discover they're expecting a child.

This is a narrative of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. I wrote it for an English Paper but I decided to post it on Wattpad because I thought it would be good for Wattpad readers. Please note that it is a narrative where you make your own ending so it is different from the original The Legend of Sleepy Hollow! Disclaimer: Washington Irving owns The Legend of Sleepy Hollow (even though he's dead....). Alice Crane is my character that I made.

It is well known that The Legend of Sleepy Hollow tells the tale of a young constable named Ichabod Crane, sent to investigate the horrific murders in Sleepy Hollow committed by the infamous Headless Horseman. In his ventures, he meets Evangeline, a young witch shunned from the village because of her abnormal strength of power in her witchcraft, suspected as the abnormality of black magic. Naturally the village suspects her to be in collaboration of the recent tragedies of Sleepy Hollow. Evangeline, with her knowledge of power beyond, is determined to fight against the legend of the Headless Horseman. Evangeline's past is of powerful magical descent, however unknown, and the mystery emanating from her becomes just another case for Ichabod Crane to investigate, as they both attempt to unravel the legend of the Headless Horseman. This was a project for my English class so why not post it to Wattpad. The project was to make a short story about what happened to Ichabod Crane after he had disappeared.

"Pardon me Miss but do you happen to kno-" I started but I was caught of guard when I was struck with the most brilliant blue eyes I've ever seen, her hair was golden shimmering in the sunlight every time she moved her head. "Sir?" I heard her Sweet voice call out to me but I was to hypnotised by her, I saw another girl behind her with fair skin and golden hair...Katrina. Victoria was the sister of Katrina nee Van Tassel, she was the total opposite of her sister, quiet, shy and lonely. People thought that she didn't belong to that family, thought that she was to common, even though her sister threw herself at any man given time. When Ichabod Crane was sent to sleepy Hollow he was mesmerised by the young woman, wanting to know more about her. He didn't realise at first that she was sisters with Katrina since Victoria always locked herself in the Library drowning herself in books upon books. Lazarus Stork had a rather unhealthy fondness for food... Thus begins this somewhat disappointing tale of love and muffins (and love of muffins). This story does not have a particularly innovative name, nor does it have any "traditional" Sleepy Hollow themes (such as decapitation), and I'm very sorry for that. It is not all that exciting, if one is used to exciting elements in Sleepy Hollow adaptations (such as decapitation), but what it lacks in excitement, it makes up for in... Muffins. So go ahead and pick up this muffin of a story and read to your heart's discontent. I'd warn you that you should never read anything I've written, but it looks like I'm already too late. ******* ******* ******* ******* ******* ******* ******* This story is an entry in the #OnceUponNow contest. The voting period is between June 14 and June 20-something. (Of course I don't know all the details. That would seem too desperate.)
