Along with them, is an armored warrior from a distant land home to other warriors who were trained from birth, who hunt monsters in their culture, worship winged-reptilian monsters known as Wyverns, and that they never show their faces, but their home was destroyed by a force that not even they could face. They find that this kid is a skilled fighter, so they ask the kid to join them. However, Percy can't shake the feeling that he's met this kid before... It was just supposed to be a drunken stumble in the dark. No strings, no consequences. But standing in the large en suite in his room back in Whitestone he couldn't deny it anymore. The heat of the bath had helped prove it tenfold. A sweet milky scent drifted through the air, mixing with the soap he favored. It felt like a slap in the face to Percy. He hadn't gained weight, yet at least. Digging deep into his memory he tried to recall how his mothers pregnancies went. An image of her strolling confidently through the castle gardens, stomach heavy and round. It wasn't that he didn't want children, he did. Late in the night he imagined hearing small footsteps running down the hall, followed by shrieks and cries of delight. A game of tag like his siblings had played. Now please understand that he was happy with this. The problem was the father.
