It's known to many the heroic acts Link has performed, even in past lives. The legendary warrior's silence is known the same. Most have thought nothing of it, but the Princess Zelda has recently been concerned, and she worries there may be more behind his silence than introverted speechlessness. _______ This is a fanfiction on The Legend of Zelda that explains why Link doesn't speak much. I don't know how long it will be, but it won't be nearly as long as a real book. I've been thinking about it for a while now, and I tried to draw it in a sort of comic form, but then I remembered I'm terrible at drawing hands, hair (especially Link's), feet, and body shape, so I thought I could write it on here. I do still hope the book reaches Zelda fans, but I also hope it will be read by people who've never heard of it. I like writing and sharing it with people, and I'm going to be especially proud of this one. I've tagged the Zelda games I've played if you're interested.

long ago, darkness invaded the peacful world of light known as Hyrule. The hero of times soul was awakened and drove back the dark force, aided by a twili.named Midna. They prevailed against all evil, battling monsters and the influence of the ursurper king zant. One saved another when close to death, and a stronger bond was formed. Together they were strong and proud. The first combonation of light and darkness that didn't ultimately destroy eachother. But all good things come to an end, and they had to part ways. The legend the gods spoke of always came to be, it always prevailed and cleansed the darkness. But the darkness had its own legend. Its own hero, its own enemies. This time it would not be ignored. The hero of shadows will rise. And he will win.

This is the sequel to the story: "The Best Knight?" so if you haven't read that book, I would read it first since the plot is crucial. Since Hyrule's best knight (Y/N) (L/N), suddenly disappeared, Link has been chosen as the replacement. Hyrule still remains the same, but now a new darkness unknown to its inhabitants will arise, bringing back Hyrule's previous best.

*Sequel to the first story* The calamity has occurred and ended, the castle rebuilt. Link and Zelda now both rule over Hyrule as King and Queen. However, conflict strikes between different Kingdoms as they battle over wrecked land and Zelda's relationship with her husband weakens as tension strengthens.
