This friend had been in a forbidden romance with a lion from another pride who she was unable to be with any longer, but not before conceiving a cub... a cub she couldn't raise. This friend gave up the cub to Nala, and Nala agreed to raise him as her own and tell everyone that she was its mother. But deep down in her heart, she doesn't think the cub that she later named Kion would be better off living this lie. Until someone very close to him finds out the truth...
