But we always have those moments locked in our minds, moments that we learn to forget, cherish, love, hate and grasp tightly on. Sometimes they remain in our minds like a photo album of the moments that we look back to remember what a life we have. But just how many of these moments, so filled with emotions that change us? Or define who we are? This is a story collection with my own thoughts about the various moments in our lives, the various emotions we feel when we are faced with a situation we must deal with. This is a story collection that I hope to convey the various human experiences that would describe who we really are. The wide seas that's my life is recorded with these traces of inks; every emotion, every experience, every thought that mapped my life. They were once the words that I could never utter but now become the words that shaped my life. This is the ongoing map I draw about my life: every bitter and illuminating moments. Monsters don't exist but humans do. Humans have a talent for destroying anything beautiful about to bloom. When the last human on Earth died, she died like a hero going home. In a world without a future, each passing moment is the end of the world. It is the year 2136, seven years from the supposed extinction of the human race. Along with Axel, a group of teenage boys wake up in a train with no memory of who they are or where they are going. They make up the remainder of the human population. They soon discover they are much further away from home then they thought. When they look outside, they realise the sky is black tinged with blood, the buildings are made of flesh and plumes of smoke escape from the cracks of the scorched grounds. Time does not exist here. Even the sun and moon has abandoned them. They quickly discover they are not alone leading Axel to believe he isn't the good guy after all. Truth to be told, he doesn't even think he's human. When Axel discovers something far worse then he could ever imagine, he knows no matter how much he wants it some stories won't have a happy ending. In fact, this might be the final ending for humans. "It was the first time she was able to absorb the outside during the day without being rushed to a new location. It felt so warm, like she was wrapped in a blanket. She walked to the edge of the ship to see the ocean. Unlike during the night where it was ominous and scary, during the day the ocean was large; it was scary in another way 'You're alone,' it seemed to say. "Yes," Tina sighed, but in her head something told her 'no.' "Maybe," she mumbled, closing her eyes. Without sight controlling her senses, her ability to hear and smell increased. It smelled salty; she did not care for that scent. On the other hand, she enjoyed the slight sound of the waves splashing against the ship or crashing into each other. Everything was calm, but Tina felt that the movies told the truth when they showed how fast it could turn into a storm. Tina looked out into the distance, trying to find the dark clouds that would bring a dramatic change to the sky. The sky didn't change, as if to assure her that she was safe, for now."
