Unexpected. Such a simple word, yet so complicated when you really put some thought into it. I mean, isn't almost everything unexpected? If it wasn't part of a specific plan, I suppose everything would be considered unexpected in the long run. My life took a one-eighty turn on the unexpected side on my seventeenth birthday. I'd never expected to have a conversation with a hardass incapable of caring for anyone but his sister, much less being the one to start the conversation. I'd never expected to get into the complicated world I did, dragged down to the bottom with the two of them and their fatal issues. None of this was apart of my plan, not that I had much of a plan to begin with. All I knew, was I'd just become the single daisy trapped in a tangled up web of thorned roses.

It's not what it seems it is. Your eyes can lie, a nightmare is everywhere. To anyone who knows me in real life: Yes, I am depressed, yes, I self-harm. But I write this for myself more than for anyone else, if you do decide to read this, I want you to know, that i do not want any of this to be brought up. Writing these poems helps me mentally, helps me control myself. If you don't like this, just don't waste your time reading it. To all readers: I am glad that you have found my works here. I am just a teen struggling to find happiness. After Alec saves her life she realize that they have a lot in common. Will Lily's life finally come together and will the missing puzzle pieces finally come together or will she be heartbroken again.
