'Ajs An'hlj' was the emergency message sent from the outpost in town. Where the infectious Vessels are. A place where no one from the Colony is allowed to go without its guide, Scout, a Vessel herself. Tyler and Manson call on Scout to guide them into town to check on the isolated outpost, though something's not right, and Scout is acting strangely. Written for the Science Fiction December 2017 Challenge.
