And of Thranduil's dear father, Oropher. Every thing, every one they lost.. So with that thought, the Lord of Imladris pushed the King of the Dunedáin of the cliff. He watched with blank eyes as the man's eyes widened, as he along with the Ring fell into the pit of Mount Doom. Destroyed. If he knew that would meant to be the beginning of another battle, Elrond would not dare to do so. He would never kill Isildur. ---- [ WARNING ] Violence. Blood. Maybe triggering stuffs. Idk I'm trying to be as mild as I can. Excuse my two a.m. idea that just would not leave me alone. So this is a what if AU that the One Ring was destroyed BUT in the process killed Isildur too and the men blamed the elves so whoop war. There will be lots of elements from both The LOTR and The Hobbit and The Silm, and I tweaked in few cultures and time differences and all the things that would happen differently due to this AU. Eru help me that I can actually remember all those lores.. Oh yeah, there will be canon characters and few ocs. "Precious" Lord of the Rings by J R R Tolkien - Split-double Vanishing Fore-edge Book Painting 📚 This is a very special fore-edge painting for me in that it has two secret pictures inside the book. I painted one half of the LOTR with scenes from the Hobbit holes of the Shire. Hidden on the other side are the volcanoes of Mordor. I painted the markings of the One Ring of Sauron on both the left and right halves. I, then, gilded all the edges gold so the paintings will be hidden when closed and like magic reveal when we fan the pages. I found this old book and wanted to revive it with fore-edge paintings so it can be cherished again. The complexity of the story warranted an equally complex painting. That is when I came up with the idea of two paintings, both hidden under gold foil. I hope this is equally magical to you and finds a home in your book shelf soon! ✉️ The book can be opened and read.
