Everything was perfect. The write wash walls kept the bad out and the people safe. The dorms had been the idea of the survivors of a plague that had wiped out most of the historic human race. The dorms a way to keep people in order and put a label in their name. Then it all changed. This story follows young Clipsi of the Extravagant as she is witness to the losses of many females in her society. No one knows what's happening and no one seems to care. When an extremely close friend of hers is lost, she snaps. She doesn't accept the emotional release of an amsen, and that's when things get interesting.
