Basically, this is our spin on the Papa Bruno Au made by ladyrenaissance on Tiktok. In this story, Bruno has a wife named Anita. They have a daughter named Marisol, whose gift is empathy and telepathy. Five years later, they had Mirabel. After the failed ceremony and Bruno's venture into the walls, Abuela decided Mirabel would be better off if she were seen as Julieta's daughter, because that way, no one would see her lack of gift as a curse (the way they'd do if she was acknowledged as Bruno's daughter). Against Anita's wishes, Mirabel was given to Julieta to raise and the family tree is falsified, and no one is allowed to tell Mirabel. Mia Madrigal, the oldest child of Pepa and Fèlix has just got her gift, alongside her prima, Isabela. Everything seems to go great, until more of the family is born. Everyone else has a better gift, why not Mia? And to make matters worse, her favorite Tìo is forced to leave the family. Now it's up to Mia and Mirabel to figure out why Bruno was forced to leave, and where exactly he went, before Pepa's sickness worsens to the point beyond repair.
