THE WORLD WILL NEVER HAVE ANOTHER MICHELLE ... "Mitchie, but what are you talking about?" "John... I think I'm in love with Lou!" she managed to tell him seriously at that moment. There was a few moments of disbelief in John's gaze. "Fuck! No, Mitch... I... I'm sick of it! I can't retake it!" he answered her. He was really saturated. John dumped his bag in the room, moving to another hotel. Michelle stayed in the room a little longer, then went to the bar. She was a ghost. She sat down and began to drink and cry. Cass was there at a table. She had seen her coming, and seeing her in such a state, she joined her. "What's going on, sweetheart? Problems with John?" She wanted to console her. Michelle took a sip from her glass, hardly able to say it: "You know, Cassy, it's true! What you said... I ... I'm really a mess!" she said then, still with tears in her eyes. "No sugar, come on, what did that asshole do!" She answered her. "I am Cassy! I'm the asshole! And I'm attracted... To Lou!" Cass opened her mouth wide. She was shocked. "John... He... He's gone!" Michelle cried, "I don't know where he is now!" "Lou?!? Shit Mitch... You're completely out of it! First Denny, now Lou!... Lou, Mitchie? He's got Jill! You just can't change!... You're a fucking loaded gun! But you know what, I don't want to know... Oh no! I'm sorry, but I really don't!" Cass walked away dumbfounded, leaving Michelle alone at the counter. Read this book and you'll understand why the world will never have another Michelle Phillips - or her mind-blowing era.
