Erin woke up in the maze, much to her dismay. Her chest and legs burned as she ran through painfully long corridors surrounded by looking walls, covered with think ivy. Then she found him. He was also running. He was someone special, there was something about him, something different- aside from the fact that they were in a maze and had no idea who he was and what he knew- she wasn't afraid when she saw him. Which given the situation, had to count for something- right? "Who the shuck are you?" "Shu- shuck?" She puzzled, almost letting out a laugh had it not been for the confusing event, "you mean fuck?" --- This is based off the maze runner book, not the movie- so some scenes are described differently to what was shown and there are some extra bits and bobs.

That is until her brother disappears along with many other campers. Months pass and she slowly sees everyone she loved and cares about is gone too. Unable to deal with the pain she flees Camp Half-Blood and tries to live life as a normal mortal. Three years pass and she finds herself in a metal cage confused, hungry, and scared. What she didn’t know is that when those cage doors open she will be reunited with her love ones, but they won’t have any memory of her and who they are.

My own original twist on James Dashner's book The Maze Runner. *Darcy’s First Person Point Of View* I woke up in a bed surrounded by boys. This would’ve been an absolute dream if they weren’t armed with weapons, if I wasn’t bound with ropes, or if my wrists weren’t chained together.
