When Addy wakes up to find herself in a giant maze with a bunch of boys, she doesn't know what to think. In fact, she doesn't know anything but her own name and the instructions she left herself before she lost all her memories. When she meets Newt, everything seems right. Finally in a world of chaos and unknowns, she finds peace and safety. Addy wants everything to be normal and despises change, but when a new Greenie shows up, that's out of the picture. Every memory, name and place ripped from her, and the only thing she can do is watch as anything she remembers about herself, and the outside world, runs like sand from her fingers. All she feels is an endless dark space in the place of memory. That is, until she arrives at the Glade. An all-boy society in the centre of a bizarre, strange and terrible maze. There, at least, she is not alone in the deep hatred she feels for the Creators - the mysterious group of cruel people who placed her there. She, along with the Gladers, will risk anything to escape the horrors of the Maze, and stop at nothing to keep each other safe along the way; especially the distractingly attractive, yet seemingly hateful second-in-command, Newt. Most characters, setting, ideas and plot belong to James Dashner, the genius behind the Maze Runner series.

Two girls have arrived in The Maze at the same time. No one knows exactly why. Everyone is stunned and is struggling to adjust to the new girls running around. Will it cause trouble with the guys or benefit them?

Blake and Maya come up in the box together, they're complete opposites but there's an invisible connection keeping them connected- keeping them intertwined. Minho catches Blake's eye but he hates her, right? Maya struggles to adjust to the glade, often feeling lonely. A certain brunette boy changes that for her when he arrives in the glade a few months after her. All character rights except for Maya and Blake go to James Dashner.

Harsh daylight blinds the girl as her eyes slowly open and adjust. An arm pops out of the box, clawing at the ground to get a hold on something. The girl's dirty blonde hair covered head shoots out of the metal death trap so she could survey her surroundings. Her eyes scan the large field, looking for signs of other human life. Needless to say, she found none. With a final push of strength, her body leaps out of the ground and collides with the earth. She is the first Glader.

Disturbance and destruction starts to arrive when one certain boy arrives. Secrets unravel, relationships bloom, people die, the only way to survive is to stick together as a family. She has to protect them all, even if she has to sacrifice herself. She's the boss. It's her job. Protect them, make sacrifices, or die trying. This is her family and she'd do anything for them.
