So, basically, it's Maze Runner, but I changed Thomas's gender to female, and all the characters will be supernatural creatures. I might change some characters' personalities and storyline. There are so many variables that could have been added to The Trials. A simple singular change, in fact, can change everything. Maze Runner fic, based on/corresponds with pinned tiktok video if you want to see the inspo behind this story (slight spoilers though)! Will probably be a mix of the movie's plot, the book's plot, and my own touches to make the story new and exciting. Disclaimer: This book is heavily inspired by James Dashner's Maze Runner, I do not claim ownership over any of the original charcters/plot points her created. I only claim ownership over added characters and original plot by me.

50 years after the ashes of WICKED fell, Thomas finally crosses over, expecting the quiet peace of the Safe Haven's promised afterlife. Instead, he finds a lush valley dominated by the Great Tree, and Newt, having a pair of massive, feathered wings but still carrying the heavy limp of his past. But heaven is not as peaceful as it seems.

A alternate universe where instead of just Minho being taken from Thomas and them, kind of like the book. Thomas is taken but just Thomas. And the ending of the series would have a very different outcome because of how long it took to find Minho in the original Death Cure film. Who knows what WCKD could have managed if they really managed to get Thomas and also use his DNA and blood for a possible cure. There is also a playlist with it on Apple music called 'The Cure'! How will the arrival of a boy named Thomas change the unstable rhythm between the two?
