I also knew the real reason behind me running the Institute for a couple of months. My parents wanted to see if I was ready for this type of responsibility. For the first couple of weeks, everything went well. Fighting demons, making sure a Downworlder wasn't preying on a mundane. But after finding two vampires' bodies, I received a call from the leader of the Datura Clan. A clan that hated my kind, but this wasn't just any call. It was a call for help.
