Clary found herself sketching a rune. Little did she know, this rune had the power to bring back an earlier generation of shadowhunters from the 19th century. Clary Fray, Jace Herondale, Alec Lightwood, and Isabelle Lightwood find themselves joining Charlotte Branwell, Henry Branwell, Will Herondale, Cecily Herondale, and Gabriel Lightwood. (This story takes place after city of heavenly fire. The earlier generation of shadowhunters have traveled ages in time right after Clockwork Princess.) *Disclaimer* None of these characters belong to me. All rights go to Cassandra Clare. Cristina Lightwood returns home from a 7 year mission she left on when she was 12. Everyone was devastated when she left , especially one person. What happens when past feelings suddenly come rushing back to them. Clary does not end up with Jace , ( she will be apart of the story though. )

It's hard though, because of the recurring trauma he faces caused by the year of pain and gruesome experiments used to break him.
