Owyn Calder has always dreamed of becoming a dragonrider. But only registered children can visit tamed dragons to pass the test. Kids with unknown birthdays have to find wild dragons to form a bond. Lyria Damos is the opposite. She thinks dragons are stupid and doesn't want to pass the test. But she has to because her parents, the king and queen, insisted that she become a dragonrider. After all, she came from two long lines of great dragonriders. But none of them get what they wish for. For some reason, a dragon bonds to Lyria and not to Owyn. Because of this, the princess decides to strengthen her bond so that she can help her new friend find a wild dragon to bond with. But they'll have to cross the whole continent, and who knows what dangers await them.... Check out "Regaining Wings" my prequel novella for ONC 2020! Bad things happen to people to people everyday, things which are never talked about, things which are better left unsaid. These horrible, horrible things shape us to become who we are, and like everything, they are also a part of us. These experiences need to be shared, these stories need to be expressed. And what better narrator than the walls, for it is truly said... Even the walls have ears. A story about a girl who is always happy, has a happy go lucky nature, believes that everything happens for a reason however bad that thing might be, many envy her because of her nature, they claim that she is just "too happy" to be true but what they don't know is that she is just wearing a facade to the world, she is more than broken, fighting her own battles to survive, the wounds are deep but no one can see them because they are the wounds that scarred her soul... Him... A boy who, well just happens to know exactly who the girl is, but just pretends not to know just to make her feel comfortable. But he is determined, determined to make her see that the world is not as cruel as she believes it to be..... And he will do everything to make sure she flies again and why won't he after all he loves her inside out from the day he has known her.... To know how she flies again and if he will be able to heal her completely, read this story! I'm not perfect neither is my book.
