Coulson is ordered to lead an elite squad of Shield Agents: Melinda May expert field agent and pilot, Grant Ward an elite espionage agent, Leopold Fitz engineer, designer, and physicist, Jemma Simmons Biochemist, and medical expert, and a hacker named Skye who was hired by Dooku's apprentice Asajj Ventress and is conscripted by Phil Coulson to join Shield.
