As they studied the movement of the planets, researchers discovered how fast the world approaching it's end. The abnormal changes of planetary alignment and the changing distance of one planet to another made it more difficult for the people to study the source and the roots of the problem. This made them think of an alternate solution. If they can't solve it outside then why not start inside? This started the enhancement of technologies. They tried to chase the fast phase of time.
