Annemarie is a 10-year old orphan who never truly fit in, whether it was because of her quiet nature or her mysterious background. However when she found a necklace with a heart-shaped locket in the head of the orphanage room that had her name on it, Annemarie believes that she can find her parents and family and escapes the orphanage to find them. What she did find wasn't her real family, but a cheerful (but sorta odd) family living in a nuclear power plant who immediately take a liking to the very confused Annemarie. Oh, and they're androids. Yep, Annemarie totally doesn't regret her life decisions right now.
